Bad situation
It felt like false advertising. I ordered the part then a couple of hrs later they called me to tell me that the part was on back order (that part of it I didn't have a problem with) then they tell me that the part is going to cost over $2000 when the original price was a little over $800.

The description and photo displayed on their website was not quite what one expects. Bearings are a matched set however theirs are sold individually as a half. Not as the photo shows and no where did it talk about a half. Was disappointed in being required to have to call and figure all of this out a few days after the initial order.

What a reputable company!
I must say that HHP is one of the most reputable companies that I have ever dealt with. I manage a diesel shop in Wilmington, NC and I had mailed 6 injector cores in for advanced credit. The box that the cores were in broke during shipping and all 6 injectors were lost. I paid an $1110.00 core charge and was told UPS would only reimburse $100.00. The people at HHP litigated with UPS and today I was notified that my account would be credited $1110.00. I am extremely impressed with the way this instance was handled by HHP. I would certainly recommend HHP to anyone. Their parts and customer service are impeccable.

Isx 15 cm2250 oil pump
“Recently had overhead set rod and main bearings and oil pump all done at cummins decided to have all this done because oil pressure was running 36 to 37 psi and truck has 780000 on it (preventative maintenance) got it back was running at 33 to 34 psi at 1500 rpms. Not happy with it. Cummins warrantied it tried putting another pump in it and still ran 33 to 34 psi they were willing to give it one more shot but I decided to do it my self because the pump that cummins is putting in has a service bulletin +- 6 psi from 41 psi unexpected oil pressure which means (should be recalled)- it is only on the new style pumps with screw type regulator / the old style pump with pinned regulator is the good oil pump but cummins and kenworth dont sell them anymore (discontinued)
Very pleased to say when I put it in and started it up it shot up to 50 psi /driving down the road it is at 43 to 45 at 15000 rpms 70 miles an hour/and 22 psi at hot idle. Thank you part came with shims / packaging needs to be packed with more crunched up paper in the bottom of the box for cushion instead of in the top the box surround by a cloud of paper even on the sides and top nice and tightly. Part was not damaged but gear punctured side bottom edge of box. Ordered on friday at 2 pm and it was delivered next day by 2 pm I live in same state but that was still very fast delivery and was looking at another vendor but it did not come with a warranty. And this pump comes with a 2 year warranty part and labor dont know how the labor would work out to be as I did it my self.”

Compressor for ISC350 1999 American Dream
Found this website by chance and they had what I needed! Approximately $1000 cheaper than anyone else. I called and verified the fit and spoke to a very helpful gentleman. Once I placed the orders I was contacted by someone who asked me to send photos via txt to her to again confirm. Very glad to double check because it’s heavy to ship! Free shipping to a commercial address. The compressor arrived on time and in great shape. Came with the seals needed and also a rebuild kit for the air check valve. Impressed. After 11 hours, the compressor has been replaced and worked fine on the shakedown drive. Will shop with highway & heavy parts again!

Was quoted about 2k for a part from dealer. thankfully was able to find it here at highway and heavy parts for alot cheaper. less than half of dealer price. i guess only time will tell on quality of part but it did come with a 1 year unlimited mile warranty.

My Cat 3406 E needed a exhaust stud repair kit and I added in the engine serial # with the order and the following day I received a phone call telling me that the kit I ordered was more expensive than a kit that they had that would do the same job. The kit came and it was exactly what they had explained and even shipping was close to my state of Michigan so I received it the next day. I can't thank all at Highway & Heavy Parts for all they did for me!

Still putting together but the main and rod bearings clearanced out perfect. right in middle of spec. The piston rings were machined just right. Dropped right in no grinding. Spins nice and smooth. Gasket quality is spot on. Came with Everything I needed to finish this bad boy up.
