Technical Data

This application has 2 EGR coolers. This is the exhaust side.

Year: 2008-2010

*NOTE: After installation make sure all air is extracted from the coolant system to prevent air voids. Air voids could lead to excessive heat pockets and cause possible failure.

EGR coolers are one of the harder parts to get to in your engine, so write your disassembly steps down and follow them in reverse order to make the installation process easier.

Signs of a bad EGR Cooler:
-Your degas bottle is low on coolant, but you don't see the coolant leaking from anywhere.
-Steam comes out of the exhaust pipe.
-Your intake manifold has visible coolant in it.
