Tips:
When putting together, make sure airtake to turbo is clean. Use a fresh air cleaner.Pre-lube turbo (pre-fill with engine oil prior to starting).

If replacement is due to oil failure, remove the charge air cooler. Make sure it's emptied, drained and cleaned. Hose can be drained, too.

To ensure maximum turbocharger life and efficiency and engine power, (and to lower engine operating cost) be sure to follow engine manufacturer’s service instructions:

Oil change intervals
Oil filter system maintenance
Oil pressure control
Air filter system maintenance
