That's still not all!

What about my Yanmar Engine Numbers?
Yanmar manufactures engines for a multitude of applications, including marine, agriculture, and industrial applications. This wide range of products can make it difficult to locate your engine numbers, though, as it's not always the same place across applications.
Unlike other engine types, it's actually the engine model number that gives us the most information. It's important that you have this number so that we can ensure you get parts that fit your engine.
Whether you realize it or not, each engine model requires specific parts—so not every Yanmar part will fit every Yanmar engine. And we want to make sure that you're ordering the right parts the first time. Otherwise, you'll be wasting unnecessary time and money ordering parts that don't fit and sending them back.
No one wants that.
Now, you might be able to use the same part number as the parts you're replacing, but to be absolutely sure that everything is correct, have your Yanmar engine model number handy. It's worth the time to find it. Plus, we'll most likely ask you for it anyway!
