By selecting “Return Core in Advance” you acknowledge that the engine part you are purchasing will not be shipped until the correct “like-for-like” core is received in assembled, rebuild-able condition in accordance with the manufacturer’s policy and has been approved by the manufacturer. The typical timeframe for a core to be approved is between 2-4 weeks after the part is received. To avoid this delay, please select to pay the refundable core charge and we will ship your product according to our shipping policy (Same day shipping if ordered by 2pm EST).

If the core is not correct “like-for-like” or in the proper condition you may receive an additional charge.

The part you are purchasing has a core charge. The Part contains a component that is recyclable. The Core Charge deposit is charged at the time of purchase. When the recyclable component from your old part is returned to us, the charge is refunded to you. Please contact our parts department with any questions.

Returning the Core

• Core charges will be in accordance with the OEM pricing policy.
• Core value will be in accordance with the OEM policy.
• Cores sent back that do not match the part purchased will not be given credit unless otherwise approved prior to return.
• Core credit will be issued when core credit is received from the OEM. The credit process of core inspection, accounting, and issuing credit may take up to 30 days.
• Freight charges to return core back to HHP are the customer’s responsibility. If a core is determined to have no value, the customer can request the core back at the customer’s freight expense.
• Cores must be returned in assembled, rebuild-able condition in accordance with the manufactures policy. Cores not meeting rebuild-able criteria will not receive credit.
• Cores must be returned within 45 days from the delivery date to receive full credit. Cores returned within 46-50 days will receive 50% credit. Cores returned after 50 days will not receive credit.
